La Familia Les Beaux-Frères – 2021

The family’s brothers-in-law have taken over the keys to the winery and joined forces to make a committed wine. The grapes, in their first year of conversion to organic farming, are harvested and sorted by hand, then vinified without the addition of sulphites.

Description

We make La familia ‘Les beaux-frères’ organic wine Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux without sulphites. The family’s brothers-in-law have come together to make a committed wine.

We produce La familia les beaux-frères in a way that limits the impact on the natural ecosystem. In addition, we hand-pick and sort grapes grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, then infuse them in small containers.

Tasting notes :

  •  Nose: Fresh with vibrant fruit.
    •  Palate: A focus on black fruit and silky tannins.

Grape varieties: 60% Merlot – 20% Cabernet Franc – 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinified in small containers, reflecting the plot of land.

Food and wine pairings: As an aperitif, accompany a variety of tapas (tuna carpaccio, grilled vegetables, etc.). Or, for a slightly more daring pairing, try this wine with a pavlova for dessert.

Our know-how :

La familia “les beaux-frères” is vinified without sulphur Castillon Côtes-de-bordeaux in Organic Agriculture. We do not use any synthetic pesticides in our vineyards. We harvested the grapes by hand. Then, once harvested, we isolated each plot in vats, taking into account its unique characteristics such as grape variety, soil, exposure to the sun and the age of the vines. This meticulous care allows us to preserve the identity of each terroir, fully expressing the diversity and richness of the estate.

Commitment to the environment :

What’s more, we harvest, vinify and mature Château Mauvinon without sulphur. We are a family of winegrowers who want to change things. Our commitment is not just to create Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wine without sulphur using organic farming methods. It’s also, and above all, to do no harm to the natural ecosystem. We are demanding in our choice of growing methods (natural grassing and sowing, animal traction, biodynamic farming). Our planet deserves our commitment.

Local production and quality :

We produce the wooden cases, labels, bottles, capsules and the entire production of Château Mauvinon in France. You’ll also find La familia 2020 and la familia blanc 2022, our organic wine.

Family heritage and Excellence :

Château Mauvinon is a dynamic family estate located in the prestigious Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation area. Under the direction of Brigitte Tribaudeau, the estate produces top-quality red wines, including Château Mauvinon and Gabriel Lauzat. Since 2020, these wines have been certified organic.
