Description
We vinify La familia ‘Les beaux-frères’ Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux without sulfites. The family’s brothers-in-law have joined forces to make a committed wine.
We produce La familia les beaux-frères with minimal impact on the natural ecosystem. In addition, we hand-pick and sort grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, then infuse them in small containers.
Tasting :
– Nose: Fresh with vibrant fruitiness.
• Bouche : Priorité aux fruits noirs et aux tannins soyeux.
Grape varieties: 60% Merlot – 20% Cabernet Franc – 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification in small containers, reflecting the plot.
Food & wine pairing: As an aperitif, serve with a variety of tapas (tuna carpaccio, grilled vegetables, etc.). Or, for a more daring pairing, try this wine with a pavlova for dessert.
Our expertise:
La familia “les beaux-frères” is an organic Castillon Côtes-de-bordeaux wine made without sulfur. We use no synthetic pesticides in our vineyards. We harvest the grapes by hand. Then, once harvested, we isolated each plot in vats, taking into account its unique specificities such as grape variety, soil, exposure to the sun and age of the vines. This meticulous care enables us to preserve the identity of each terroir, fully expressing the diversity and richness of the estate.
Commitment to the environment :
What’s more, we harvest, vinify and age Château Mauvinon without sulfur. This is because we are a family of winegrowers who want to make a difference. Our commitment is not only to create sulfur-free Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wine using organic farming methods, but above all to do no harm to the natural ecosystem. We are exacting in our choice of cultivation methods (natural grassing and sowing, animal traction, biodynamics). Our planet deserves our commitment.
Local production and quality:
We produce the wooden cases, labels, bottles, capsules and all Château Mauvinon production in France. You’ll also find the familia 2020 and the familia blanc 2022.
Family heritage and Excellence :
Château Mauvinon is a dynamic family estate located in the prestigious Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation area.
