This unique white wine produced in Bordeaux, alba refers to the freshness of a dawn. Harvest at the first light of sun, like that the grapes can keep their freshness during the wine making process and that allow too keep the flavor during the aging process. During the fermentation, the wine is transferred to barrels of french oak, and aged for 6 months. That the contact with the sediment in the barrels helps alba to gain its fineness ans its complexity.
Alba is marked by a fruity nose and a lovely freshness.
The palate of this Bordeaux white wine is a surprising, revealing note of juicy lemon, ananas, a little bit of quince flavor added to a small touch of toasted flavor, vanilla, zest, like so an imperceptible tip of fresh almond in the back of the mouth. This wine presents a great length and a great persistence as well.
Alba need to be served between 10° and 12° and paired with langoustine, scallops and goat cheese.
The wood cases, the labels, the bottles, the cap, and the entire Mauvinon production are Made in France.
The first vintage produced is the 2018 but you have other vintage, you need to ask for them.
