This unique Bordeaux white wine evokes the freshness of the dawn. Harvested at dawn, the berries retain their aromas throughout the vinification process. Fermented in barrels and aged for 6 months, it acquires finesse and complexity thanks to the lees present in the barrels.
Our Alba Mauvinon 2021 has a racy nose with lemon zest, melon and honey toast. On the palate, this wine is rich and well-balanced, with a tangy structure, tension, fatness and straightforwardness. This wine is full and juicy.

How long will this wine keep?
Ageing depends on the vintage and the cuvée.
In general, our red wines can be kept for between 5 and 15 years in good cellar conditions.
Our Alba White, our sparkling wine and our Orange wine can be kept for 5 years.
The Familia White, Low Alcool and Rosé can be kept for 2 years.
Should this wine be decanted before tasting?
We recommend decanting our young wines to allow them to open up fully. Older vintages can be served directly after opening.
At what temperature should this wine be served?
The serving temperature is between 16 and 18°C to bring out all the aromatic nuances of our red wines.
Our white wines and rosé can be served at 4°C.
Our sparkling wine and our Low Alcool can be served at 9°C.
Is this wine organic or sustainable?
Yes, Château Mauvinon is certified organic and biodynamic, with a strong commitment to biodiversity and sustainable viticulture.
What grape variety or blend does this wine come from?
The typical blend of our wines is Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and sometimes a hint of Malbec, depending on the vintage. Our white wines are made from Sauvignon Blanc.
Can we drink this wine now or should we wait?
Our wines can be enjoyed young after aeration, but gain in complexity after a few years of cellaring. Our sulphite-free vinification ensures that our wines are drinkable from the very first years.
How do you keep this wine once the bottle has been opened?
Once opened, store the bottle in the refrigerator with a suitable stopper, and consume within 2 to 3 days.
Should this wine be stored lying down or standing up?
We recommend that bottles are stored lying down to keep the cork moist and ensure a good seal.
Is this wine sensitive to temperature variations during transport?
Yes, like all fine wines, it is sensitive to high temperatures. We suspend shipments when temperatures peak.
