Description
We produce familia 2020 to the same exacting standards as our Saint-Émilion grand cru. This wine is vinified without sulfites.
The Tribaudeau family vinifies this wine in conversion to organic farming without sulfites. We produce La familia 2020 with minimal impact on the natural ecosystem. We grow the grapes without synthetic pesticides, harvesting and sorting them by hand. We then vinify the wine in small containers to reflect its parcel-by-parcel nature, and age it for 9 months in one-year-old barrels.
Tasting :
– Nose: Fresh with vibrant fruitiness.
Mouth: Notes of bright black fruit. A subtly toasted wine with an intense tannic structure.
Grape variety : 100% Merlot. Vinifies in small containers, reflecting the different plots and the land, aged for 9 months one used french oak barrels (1 year old barrels).
Food and wine pairing : A perfect accompaniment to duck parmentier.
Our expertise:
Château Mauvinon 2020 is an organic Saint-Émilion sulfur-free wine. We use no synthetic pesticides in our vineyards. The grapes were harvested by hand. Then, once harvested, we isolated each plot in vats, taking into account its unique specificities such as grape variety, soil, exposure to the sun and age of the vines. This meticulous care enables us to preserve the identity of each terroir, fully expressing the diversity and richness of the estate.
Commitment to the environment :
What’s more, we harvest, vinify and age Château Mauvinon without sulfur. This is because we are a family of winegrowers who want to make a difference. Our commitment isn’t just to create organic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wine without sulfur. It’s also, and above all, to do no harm to the natural ecosystem. We are exacting in our choice of cultivation methods (natural grassing and sowing, animal traction, biodynamics). Our planet deserves our commitment.
Local production and quality:
Wooden cases, labels, bottles, capsules and all Château Mauvinon production are “made in France”. Château Mauvinon is also available in the 2017 vintage and in magnum for the 2016.
Family heritage and Excellence :
