Description

Through Château Mauvinon, we want to let our terroir express itself plainly, for that we minimize our intervention. Every plots are turned into wine in a small vat with a small quantity of input, like this we can preserve the characteristic of the terroir (soil, grape variety, age, exposure) everything helps to keep a great complexity during the blending process.

Ingeniously aged in barrels, Château Mauvinon is the perfect balance between flavors from the barrels, and flavors from the grapes. Intense black fruits during the couple first years, evolving to notes of licorice and undergrowth after.

Serve at a temperature of 18°, this wine will be enhanced by a rib steak, a tournedos or a cheese like a Brie de Meaux or the Saint-Félicien. You can also appreciate this wine during a brunch with an avocado toast with a poached egg.

The wood cases, the labels, the bottles, the cap, and the entire Mauvinon production are Made in France.

Château Mauvinon is as well available in vintage 2015 and 2016.
