Description
This unique white wine produced in Bordeaux refers to the freshness of the Aube. Harvested at first light, the cold berries retain all the aromas acquired during ripening throughout the winemaking process. During fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, where it is aged for 6 months. It is through contact with the lees in the barrels that this wine acquires its finesse and complexity.
Alba blanc 2019 is a 100% sauvignon blanc wine produced by Château Mauvinon, it reveals a pale golden hue, tinged with green as well as an elegant, vibrant nose of crushed citrus, lemon zest, melon and honeyed toast.
Alba is elegant, lively with a beautiful finesse, and brings a surprising richness and ripeness to the palate, with a medium-bodied richness, a round texture, good balance and lovely finesse.
Suitable for the dining table, served between 10° and 12° Alba goes perfectly with langoustines, scallops and sheep’s milk cheeses.
Alba Mauvinon is sold in wooden cases, ideal for corporate gifts. Cases are individual for single orders and in wooden cases of 6 bottles for larger orders.
The wooden cases, labels, bottles and capsules, and all Château Mauvinon production are “made in France”.
